In your browser
- Your agreement to the terms is saved in your browser's local storage (a version and a timestamp) so we do not ask every time. Clear your site data to remove it.
- The retrieval model (EmbeddingGemma) runs in your browser and turns your question into numbers used to find relevant passages. Its files are downloaded from Hugging Face and cached by your browser.
On our server
- Your question, the passages it matched and your previous turn are sent to our server and then to an AI model provider to write the reply. Please do not type personal information.
- Your IP address is held in memory for a short time to rate-limit requests. It is not written to a database.
- We do not store your conversations. Ordinary server logs may briefly record errors and safety filter events.
Third parties
Replies are generated through an API gateway (Treg) that routes to a commercial language model provider, which processes the question under its own terms. Video and images are served from this site.
